She's back, and with some apologies along with her. Miley Cyrus, 18, was recently seen on the front cover of Marie Claire magazine after being AWOL for her bong incident. The young starlet who recently dawned a new tat on her side, which already has people and parents talking, has issued her apology to all in Marie Claire, (which will hit newsstands February 15).
"What I never wanted was for my fans to feel like I betrayed them...to feel like I was something, then turned around and was something that I'm not. But I've never, ever claimed to be perfect. I mean, since I've started the show, I've always said, 'I'm gonna make mistakes.' I know this. And I think that is one of the reasons why people relate to me. Why kids relate to me." (This quote was taken from Yahoo's OMG News.)
Miley, whose parents Billy Ray and Tish Cyrus filed for divorce last year, has had a tough year with the whole bong incident, her scandalous 18th party, and the debut of her "Can't Be Tamed" music video (which caused many to argue about her trying to grow up too fast and split for her Disney past and also about how inappropriate it was). So is America ready to forgive the young star, or is she going to have to do more to prove herself in 2011?
